Team News: Rickie Lambert starts for Liverpool at Crystal Palace

Rickie Lambert leads Liverpool's line at Crystal Palace in the absence of Mario Balotelli, as the Reds go in search of their first win in four matches.

Rickie Lambert will lead the Liverpool line in this afternoon's Premier League match at Crystal Palace.

The Reds are trying to end a three-game losing streak, but are without Mario Balotelli and Jordan Henderson.

Balotelli misses out with a groin injury, while Henderson is forced to sit out because of illness.

In total, Brendan Rodgers makes four changes to the side that were beaten by Chelsea in their last game.

Balotelli, Henderson, Emre Can and Alberto Moreno drop out for Lambert, Joe Allen, Adam Lallana and Javier Manquillo.

Hosts Palace, meanwhile, have three changes in their starting XI from the defeat at Manchester United two weeks ago.

Martin Kelly, Mile Jedinak and Dwight Gayle come in for Adrian Mariappa, James McArthur and Fraizer Campbell.

Palace: Speroni; Kelly, Dann, Delaney, Ward; Jedinak, Ledley; Puncheon, Chamakh, Bolasie; Gayle
Subs: Hennessey, Hangeland, Bannan, McArthur, Zaha, Campbell, Johnson

Liverpool: Mignolet; Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson; Gerrard, Allen; Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling; Lambert
Subs: Jones, Toure, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Borini, Markovic
