Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League showdown with Liverpool on Thursday.

The pick of the Premier League's midweek fixtures takes place on Thursday as title outsiders Tottenham Hotspur welcome reigning champions Liverpool to North London.

A late flurry of goals helped Jose Mourinho's men get over the line against Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup as they eventually stormed to a 4-1 victory in the fourth round.

However, Spurs have been faltering in the Premier League and are currently seven points behind leaders Manchester United - albeit with a game in hand - and they did enjoy a 3-1 win over Sheffield United last time out.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit of Liverpool.


Sergio Reguilon

Jose Mourinho revealed that Spurs have been hit with a few more injury problems ahead of this game, and one of them is Sergio Reguilon, who is understood to be facing a three-week spell on the sidelines with a muscular problem.


Giovani Lo Celso

Possible return date: Unknown

Giovani Lo Celso has been sidelined ever since picking up a hamstring injury in December's defeat to Leicester City, and Mourinho has conceded that the Argentine will be out for "a little while", ruling him out of this game.


Dele Alli

Possible return date: Unknown

Dele Alli has struggled to get a look-in under Mourinho when fully fit, and the 24-year-old was nowhere to be seen at Wycombe due to a tendon injury. Alli has been ruled out of this game too, but it would have been a surprise to see him start anyway.


Matt Doherty

Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: January 28 (vs. Liverpool)

Mourinho admitted that he was "not sure" if Matt Doherty would recover from an unspecified injury in time to face Wycombe, and the defender played no part in Monday's game. However, Serge Aurier recovered from illness to make the bench in the FA Cup, so Mourinho will have at least one recognised right-back available for this crunch match.


Ben Davies

Possible return date: January 28 (vs. Liverpool)

Mourinho revealed after the Wycombe win that Ben Davies had a "bad feeling" as he was subbed off. The Spurs boss has expressed concern over a potential calf injury to the left-back, and he is doubtful for Thursday.
