Roberto Firmino has revealed that he has asked Roma goalkeeper and fellow Brazil international Alisson Becker to join Liverpool.
The Selecao goalkeeper has impressed at the Stadio Olimpico over the past two seasons and has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe.
Liverpool are believed to be strongly interested in Alisson, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly hoping to replace the oft-criticised Anfield goalkeeping duo of Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
"Every once in a while I give him a pinch to come to Liverpool to help us and such, but it's with his agents," Reds forward Firmino told the Daily Mail. "It would not hurt if he came to Liverpool."
Alisson is set to head to the World Cup as Brazil's first choice goalkeeper, and recently played at Anfield during a friendly match victory over Croatia.
