Juventus reportedly step up their efforts to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Juventus reportedly have no intention of backing down in their pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

The Italian giants were linked with a swoop for the German international during the summer window, but a move failed to materialise.

As it stands, Can will be free to speak to other clubs in January as his current contract at Anfield expires when the season comes to an end.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are increasing their efforts to sign the 23-year-old by contacting his representatives, but even though Liverpool are no closer to agreeing a new deal with Can, they want him to stay.

Can signed for the Merseyside outfit from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014.
