Liverpool will reportedly ask Barcelona for Christian Tello in exchange for Pepe Reina this summer.
The La Liga champions have courted the Spanish goalkeeper for the majority of the season and will make a bid this summer, according to The Mirror.
However, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers will ask the Spanish giants for winger Tello or face a rejection of any bid for the stopper.
Reports have suggested that Barca will offer £10m, but Rodgers wants a straight swap for the £8.5m-rated Tello.
Liverpool were interested in the 21-year-old last summer, with Tello preferring to stay at Camp Nou.
