Leicester City are reportedly looking to explore a deal to bring Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert to the King Power Stadium.
Lambert appears likely to depart Anfield this summer following the arrivals of Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke, and up until recently it was believed that West Bromwich Albion would win the race to sign the £3.5m-rated frontman.
However, according to The Mirror, City boss Claudio Ranieri is also keen on the 33-year-old as the Foxes look to build a squad capable of retaining their place in the Premier League next season.
Lambert was unable to secure a first-team place at Liverpool last campaign, where he scored two goals in 25 appearances.
