Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will reportedly become a Swansea City player by the weekend.
A fee of around £6m has been agreed between the two sides and the 21-year-old will move to the Liberty Stadium before the end of the week, according to The Telegraph.
Swans chairman Huw Jenkins confirmed on Tuesday that discussions between the two clubs were underway.
Shelvey made 17 appearances in the Premier League last season, but found his opportunities limited after Christmas, as Jordan Henderson's good form coincided with the signings of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho in January.
The England Under-21 international signed for the Reds for £1.7m from Charlton Athletic in 2010.
