Lille hold Lyon to goalless draw at Stade de Gerland

Neither Lyon or Lille manage to find an opening as the duo draw 0-0 at the Stade de Gerland.

Both Lyon and Lille failed to spark into life as the French duo drew 0-0 in Ligue 1.

Hosts Lyon came closest to opening the scoring when Corentin Tolisso headed just wide from 12 yards out in the second half.

Minutes later, Tolisso went close again but his shot was well saved by Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

Star striker Alexandre Lacazette would have been expected to net the winner when he weaved through the Lille defence, but his shot was too central to beat Enyeama.

Lyon travel to Belgium in midweek to take on Gent in the Champions League.
