Galatasaray have reportedly identified former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini as their number one target to replace Fatih Terim.
The Turkish club took the decision to sack Terim yesterday evening following the club's 6-1 Champions League defeat to Spanish side Real Madrid last week.
Early reports have suggested that Gala are keen to have a new boss in place for their next game in the competition against Juventus on Wednesday, October 2, with Mancini said to be highly respected by the club's board.
The Italian, who was relieved of his duties at the Etihad Stadium towards the end of last season, would not command any compensation because of his unemployed status.
