Manuel Pellegrini: Sergio Aguero "not fit for 90 minutes"

Sergio Aguero is not fit enough to play for 90 minutes against Arsenal, according to Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has conceded that Sergio Aguero is unlikely to last the entire 90 minutes of tonight's Premier League clash away at Arsenal.

The Argentine has been included in the starting lineup at the Emirates Stadium for the first time since November 28 because of a heel complaint.

"It's important for him to start the game. Maybe he is not fit for 90 minutes, but he does different things to our team," the City boss told Sky Sports News.

"He makes important runs and we'll see how many minutes he can play. I hope he returns in a good way. He worked the whole week normally."

Aguero, 27, has scored nine goals in all competitions for City this term.
