Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes that the club already has one up on their rivals by having the "best squad in England".
The former Premier League champions have strengthened their squad with the arrivals of Fernandinho, Jesus Navas, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo so far this summer.
"I think we have the best squad in England," BBC Sport quotes Pellegrini as saying. "We bought four important players, we already had a very good team and with these four players I think we improved a lot."
Pellegrini, who replaced sacked manager Roberto Mancini, has the task of improving on City's position last season, which left them 11 points behind champions Manchester United.
