Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez could make his first start for the club in six months against Sunderland on Saturday.
Tevez, 28, has made two substitute appearances in the past week, since returning from his three-month break in Argentina.
It is understood that City boss Roberto Mancini will start Tevez at the weekend, however, according to The Mirror, as he attempts to reignite the club's faltering title bid.
Tevez has scored 52 goals for City since joining in 2009.
