Sports Mole looks at how Manchester City could line up in Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley.

Manchester City will have Ederson, John Stones and Raheem Sterling all available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.

Ederson was forced to withdraw from the Brazil squad due to illness, but the goalkeeper has recovered in time for the contest with the relegation-threatened Clarets.

Stones and Sterling both suffered issues during the international break with England, meanwhile, but the pair are available for selection against Sean Dyche's side.

Ruben Dias will again definitely miss out due to a thigh problem, while Cole Palmer is out due to an ankle issue; Benjamin Mendy is also still unavailable due to a club suspension.

Head coach Pep Guardiola has decisions to make in the final third of the field, and Jack Grealish could be the player to drop out of the attack, with Sterling potentially starting alongside Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden.

Nathan Ake will be on standby if Stones suffers a setback ahead of kickoff, but there are not likely to be any surprises elsewhere, with Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri and Bernardo Silva set to feature in midfield.

Guardiola is unlikely to decide on his final XI until after Friday's training session, with the Spaniard needing to assess the fitness of the players who have been away on international duty.

Manchester City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Laporte, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo; Sterling, Foden, Mahrez
