The Argentine striker, who has scored 26 goals this season, has recently been sidelined with a hamstring problem.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini has made a further four changes following Sunday's defeat at Liverpool as Aleksandar Kolarov, James Milner, Javi Garcia and Alvaro Negredo all return.

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has opted to make two changes, with Sebastian Larsson and Santiago Vergini replacing Ki Sung-Yeung and Phil Bardsley.
