Team News: Joe Hart starts for Manchester City, Christian Benteke on Aston Villa bench

Joe Hart starts in goal for Manchester City's trip to Aston Villa, who have Christian Benteke on the bench after seven months out but lose Gabriel Agbonlahor to illness.

Joe Hart has been given the nod in goal for Manchester City's Premier League trip to Aston Villa this evening.

The England number one was dropped for summer signing Willy Caballero last weekend but returned for the Champions League draw with Roma and has kept his place.

Manuel Pellegrini makes three changes from the team that started in midweek, with Eliaquim Mangala, Aleksander Kolarov and James Milner replacing Martin Demichelis, Gael Clichy and Jesus Navas.

Villa have Christian Benteke in their squad for the first time since April. The Belgian striker is named on the bench after recovering from the Achilles injury that cost him seven months of action.

However, the hosts are without top goalscorer Gabriel Agbonlahor, who was a late withdrawal through illness. Charles N'Zogbia is the one alteration from the XI that lost 3-0 to Chelsea in their previous outing.

Villa: Guzan; Hutton, Senderos, Baker, Cissokho; Delph, Westwood, Cleverley; Richardson, N'Zogbia, Weimann
Subs: Given, Bacuna, Clark, Sanchez, Bent, Benteke, Grealish

Man City: Hart; Zabaleta; Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov; Milner, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva; Dzeko, Aguero
Subs: Caballero, Demichelis, Sagna, Lampard, Navas, Jovetic, Fernando
