Manchester City have reportedly stepped up their efforts to push through a deal for Juventus defender Joao Cancelo.
The Premier League champions have a number of options at right-back, but that has not stopped Pep Guardiola from making a move for the Portugal international.
Newly-appointed Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be happy for Cancelo to move on this summer, despite the 25-year-old having spent just one year in Turin.
According to Tuttomercato, that has resulted in the two parties discussing the possible transfer during talks in London earlier this week.
The report claims that Juve's sporting director Fabio Paratici was present as the two clubs spoke about a potential £44m transfer.
City are allegedly prepared to hand Cancelo a five-year contract if he makes the switch to the Etihad Stadium.
