As a result, Messi is now a free agent, and the attacker is currently away with Argentina at the Copa America.

According to Goal, the South American is 'calm' about his future and is fully focused on helping his country at this summer's competition.

Messi, who attempted to leave Barcelona last summer amid interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, scored 38 goals and registered 14 assists in 47 appearances for Ronald Koeman's side last season.
