Manchester City 'have Jadon Sancho buy-back clause'

Manchester City have first refusal on England international Jadon Sancho, who left the Etihad Stadium for Borussia Dortmund in 2017, according to a report.

Manchester City reportedly have first refusal on England international Jadon Sancho, who left the Etihad Stadium for Borussia Dortmund ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Sancho famously rejected the chance to sign a new contract at City in favour of moving to Dortmund, who are believed to have paid around £8m to sign the teenager.

The 18-year-old has been in fine form for his German club this season, managing one goal and six assists in seven Bundesliga appearances, and also has a Champions League assist to his name.

Sancho, meanwhile, made his senior England debut during recent the international break.

A number of clubs have been linked with moves for the attacker, but according to the Manchester Evening News, there is a clause in Sancho's contract which would allow City first refusal providing that they match any fee offered.

City originally signed Sancho from Watford when the attacker was just 14.
