Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is plotting a January bid for Lille attacker Eden Hazard, according to talkSPORT.
The Belgian international put a number of European clubs on alert by admitting earlier this year that he was ready to leave his current employers.
Inter Milan and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the winger, but it now appears that City have entered the race to capture his signature.
Mancini is said to be willing to offer £30m and will look to loan him back to Lille until the summer.
