Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists that defender Pepe will not be leaving the club in the summer.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed that defender Pepe is not for sale.

The 30-year-old had been linked with a £21m move to Manchester City, but his possible departure from the club has been swiftly dismissed.

Perez told Onda Cero: "Pepe is not for sale and will not move this summer, at least that's my opinion."

The former Porto defender has made 199 appearances for the Spanish giants since his arrival at the club in 2007.
