Report: Manchester City line up move for Marco Reus

Manchester City are preparing a bid in the region of £20m to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus next summer, according to a report.

Manchester City are lining up a move to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus at the end of the season, according to a report.

The Bundesliga side are resigned to losing the 25-year-old due to a release clause in his contract, but are determined to keep him until the end of the current campaign.

City will have to bid upwards of £20m to land the Germany international, and could also face competition from Bayern Munich for his signature.

However, Manuel Pellegrini's side are prepared to offer Reus wages in the region of £200,000 per week to outbid Bayern, reports the Daily Mail.

Reus has scored three goals in six games for Dortmund this season.
