A number of Premier League clubs have reportedly been placed on alert with the suggestion that Yaya Toure would like to remain in the Premier League.
Toure has rarely featured for Manchester City during the current campaign, and manager Pep Guardiola confirmed on Friday that the long-serving player would be moving on in the summer.
The 34-year-old will not be short of offers and will likely receive approaches from China and the MLS but according to the Manchester Evening News, Toure wants to stay in England.
The report claims that the Ivorian is settled in the North-West, leaving open the possibility of signing for a club based in the area such as Everton and Burnley.
Toure has played just 142 minutes of football in the Premier League this season, but the Ivorian is said to remain confident that he can make an impact in the top flight.
