Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. RB Leipzig

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.

Manchester United will be looking to book their spot in the last-16 stage of the Champions League when they travel to Germany to face RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils will be guaranteed a spot in the knockout round if they avoid defeat, while they will claim first spot in the section if they pick up a draw and Paris Saint-Germain do not beat Istanbul Basaksehir.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will enter the European contest off the back of a 3-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Leipzig, who will go through if they overcome the 20-time English champions.

Possible return date: December 12 (vs. Manchester City)

Edinson Cavani will miss out for United against Leipzig, with the Uruguay international picking up a muscular problem during the first half of Saturday's clash with West Ham, which led to his withdrawal at the break.

Luke Shaw has been on the sidelines since the early stages of November due to a hamstring injury, but the left-back has made excellent progress in his recovery and could be available for this game.
