Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Patrice Evra is keen to pursue his allegation of racism against Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
The French full-back has claimed that he was the subject of abuse from Suarez during United's 1-1 draw at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Uruguayan striker has strongly denied the accusation, but Evra wants to press ahead with his case.
"I spoke to Patrice today," Ferguson told a press conference ahead of his side's match with FC Otelul Galati. "He is adamant he wants to follow it on."
Earlier today PFA chief executive Gordan Taylor backed the FA's investigation into the situation.
