Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League showdown with Crystal Palace.

Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways against Crystal Palace after being held to a 1-1 draw at Molineux by Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out.

The Red Devils opened their Premier League campaign with a 4-0 thumping of Chelsea as they handed Frank Lampard a rude introduction to life as a Premier League manager.

Against Wolves, Anthony Martial's 50th United goal looked set to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side a second win from as many games, but an incredible Ruben Neves strike and a missed Paul Pogba penalty saw the match end level.

They face a Palace side who have failed to score in their first two games and will feel confident that a squad at near-full strength will have enough to see the Eagles off at Old Trafford.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for the Red Devils.

Alexis Sanchez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Lack of fitness
Possible return date: Unknown

United boss Solskjaer has admitted that Sanchez is a few weeks behind the rest of the squad in terms of his fitness, having arrived to pre-season later than his teammates. The Chile international appears to be closing in on a move to Inter Milan and, as a result, his inclusion in the matchday squad is unlikely.

Eric Bailly

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Watford)

The Ivorian central defender has had surgery on a serious knee injury and is expected to be out for four or five months. A Christmas return has been pencilled in.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah
