Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leicester City

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Manchester United will be looking to make it four victories in a row in all competitions when they travel to Leicester City in the Premier League on Boxing Day.

The Red Devils booked their spot in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have won their last two in the league, meanwhile, and are unbeaten in England's top flight since the start of November - a run that has seen them rise into third spot in the table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Leicester, who are currently second in the division.

Scott McTominay

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester)

Scott McTominay, who scored twice in the 6-2 win over Leeds United last weekend, missed out against Everton in the EFL Cup due to a groin problem. The issue is not believed to be serious, though, and he could return to the starting XI at the King Power Stadium.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester)

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was not involved against Everton on Wednesday night due to a problem that he picked up against Leeds, but the right-back has a strong chance of being back in the side on Boxing Day.

Phil Jones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Phil Jones has not featured for United since January, and the versatile defender, who is currently being linked with a move away from Old Trafford, is currently on the sidelines with a knee problem.

Marcos Rojo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Marcos Rojo will miss the remainder of the year with a calf problem, and the Argentina international could have played his last game for the club, having fallen out of favour under Solskjaer.

United have no players suspended for this weekend's context.
