Guillem Balague: 'Carlo Ancelotti, Diego Simeone will remain in Spain'

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague plays down talk that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti or Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone could take charge of Manchester United.

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague does not believe that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti or Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone are realistic targets for Manchester United.

The Premier League champions are currently on the lookout for a new manager after relieving David Moyes of his duties following a poor first season in charge.

Ancelotti and Simeone have both been linked with the position, but Balague, in an interview with Sky Sports News, insisted that neither will leave La Liga in the summer.

However, Balague revealed that Simeone's next move will either be "to Serie A or the Premier League" once he has completed his project with Atletico.

Ryan Giggs is currently the interim manager at Old Trafford.
