Paddy Crerand hails Manchester United's "team spirit"

Former Manchester United midfielder Paddy Crerand praises the team spirit at the club.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paddy Crerand has revealed that the Premier League outfit have "great team spirit".

United picked up their fifth straight league win on Monday evening as Robin van Persie's double secured a 2-1 victory at Southampton.

Crerand travelled with the team back to Manchester and the Scot has praised the current atmosphere within the club.

"Great atmosphere on plane back last night. Great team spirit," Crerand, who represented United between 1963 and 1971, tweeted.

United face fierce rivals Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
