Diego Maradona: "Alex Ferguson should not be talking"

Diego Maradona says that Sir Alex Ferguson "should not be talking" about Carlos Tevez.

Diego Maradona has said that Sir Alex Ferguson "should not be talking" about the Carlos Tevez situation, as he doesn't know what is happening.

The Manchester United boss praised Roberto Mancini for his handling of the situation in Munich, where Tevez allegedly refused to come on as a substitute for Samir Nasri in the side's 2-0 loss to the Bavarian giants.

However, Maradona has said that the Scot must learn to mind his own business, as the matter has nothing to do with him.

"Ferguson should not be talking about it because he became a big coach only after he got big players," Maradona told reporters.

"Ferguson was defending Mancini and I know Mancini well, and I know Carlos Tevez too, and if Ferguson doesn't really know about the issue, he shouldn't be talking, so it's a real big joke."

The 50-year-old previously advised Tevez to leave Old Trafford, shortly before his move to Manchester City in 2009.
