David Moyes disappointed by Robin van Persie absence

Manchester United boss David Moyes admits that he is disappointed by Robin van Persie's current injury problems.

Manchester United boss David Moyes has expressed his disappointment at Robin van Persie's current injury problems.

The striker is due to miss the next four to six weeks after spraining his ankle during United's 3-0 win over Olympiakos in the Champions League last Wednesday.

"There is no club in Europe that wouldn't want Van Persie at centre-forward, and he is a massive miss," Moyes told reporters. "He changed the game against Olympiakos with the goals he scored."

United return to Premier League action on Tuesday when they welcome Manchester City to Old Trafford.
