Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane claims that his daughter is stronger than Liverpool attacker Adam Lallana.

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane claimed that his daughter is stronger than Liverpool's Adam Lallana ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash between Chelsea and Everton.

Speaking before the contest at Stamford Bridge, Keane predicted that the Toffees would provide a sterner test than Liverpool, who lost 2-0 to the Blues in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

Everton went on to suffer 4-0 defeat, but Keane had a dig at Lallana, who is expected to leave Anfield on a free transfer this summer, ahead of kickoff.

"I think Everton in a strange way will be a tougher test than the Liverpool game," Keane told Sky Sports News. "Because I think Lallana was in midfield the other night for Liverpool. I know my daughter's probably stronger than him."

The 31-year-old has made 22 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side during the 2019-20 campaign but has struggled to force his way into the starting XI.

Leicester City, Lazio, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs to be linked with a move for the Englishman as his contract continues to run down.
