Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has said that he is excited about working with new manager Jose Mourinho.
The former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss has replaced Louis van Gaal in the dugout at Old Trafford after two poor years in the Premier League, and Schneiderlin has revealed that he has spoken to French teammate Lassana Diarra about the Portuguese chief.
Diarra has worked with Mourinho at both Stamford Bridge and the Bernabeu, and Schneiderlin has said that he only heard "good things" from the player whom he has replaced in France's squad for Euro 2016.
The 26-year-old is quoted by The Express as saying: "As everybody knows Jose is one of the best coaches in the world.
"I don't know him personally but I spoke to Lass at [France training camp] and he only said good things about him. I'm really looking forward to working with him, finding out his methods and winning back the title at Manchester United."
Schneiderlin made 39 appearances during his first campaign with United.
