Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has told supporters that they need to be "patient" amid concerns over the team's lack of attacking threat.
Fans have been heard shouting "attack, attack, attack" during games as United have only managed to score three goals in their last five games in all competitions.
Schweinsteiger, though, is confident that manager Louis van Gaal is the right man to steer United back to winning ways.
"I'm sure Louis will bring success to United," The Mirror quotes Schweinsteiger as saying. "I'm convinced about that, but we have to do our work and we have to improve. I'm convinced it will happen.
"You have to be patient, but of course, during that you have to win - you have to get results and you have to score. You recognise what the supporters are saying, but football is not only attack.
"There are teams with different game styles and they also win titles, but I think especially in home matches we have to press and go forward."
United are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
