Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly prepared to fast-track young midfielder Hannibal Mejbri straight into Manchester United's first team.
The 17-year-old joined the Red Devils from Monaco last summer and has been a regular at Under-18s level so far.
Mejbri has also featured for the Under-23s and, according to the Manchester Evening News, he could be offered a chance to impress for the senior side next term.
Solskjaer is supposedly looking to loan out a number of other fringe players, which could push Mejbri up to sixth choice in the central midfield pecking order.
Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic remain first picks, but it is claimed that he will be considered for selection ahead of Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard.
Right-back Ethan Laird and forward Largie Ramazani are also believed to be knocking on the door for more regular first-team appearances.
