Ashley Young is hopeful that his recent form for Manchester United could earn him a recall to the England squad.
The midfielder has not featured for his country since September 2013, but starred in United's 3-0 over Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend.
Roy Hodgson will announce the England squad on Thursday, ahead of their Euro 2016 Group E qualifier against Lithuania at Wembley and friendly with Italy at the end of March.
Talking to Sky Sports News HQ, Young said: "Fingers crossed I can get myself back into the England team.
"I've always said that I want to represent my country. It's always an honour to play for England and hopefully I've done enough to get myself back in the squad."
Young will be hoping to continue his good form when United face Liverpool on the weekend, with both sides targeting Champions League qualification.
