New Year's Day Premier League predictions including Man United vs. Aston Villa

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Friday night's Premier League fixtures - Everton vs. West Ham United and Manchester United vs. Aston Villa.

Everton head into their encounter with West Ham United on New Year's Day looking to extend their winning streak in the Premier League to five matches.

Meanwhile, the Hammers make the trip to Goodison Park on the back of four matches without success, a run which has left the East London team in 10th position.

We say: Everton 2-1 West Ham United

Having been provided with an unexpected rest earlier this week, Everton should be far sharper than a Hammers side which have played twice since their last outing. With that in mind, we are backing the Toffees to edge this game with a goal in the latter stages.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Man Utd vs. Aston Villa (Friday, 8.00pm)

Manchester United play host to Aston Villa on Friday night looking to extend their unbeaten record in the Premier League to 10 matches.

Meanwhile, Villa travel to Old Trafford knowing that victory will move them to within one point of their second-placed opponents in the standings.

We say: Manchester United 2-1 Aston Villa

Having performed so impressively during the second half at Chelsea, Villa will fancy their chances of taking more points off their rivals for a European place. However, having more options to rotate will help Solskjaer, and the home side should have enough quality to outlast their in-form opponents.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
