This match will see the team at the bottom of the Premier League table playing host to the side that is currently at the summit by 12 points.
However, Queens Park Rangers have shown in recent weeks under Harry Redknapp that they are not an easy side to beat.
In matches against Chelsea (away) and Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City at Loftus Road, the R's have not lost any of that trio, picking up five points in the process. What's more, goalkeeper Julio Cesar kept clean sheets in each of those encounters.
It's up the other end of the pitch were Redknapp's team have had problems though. They've only scored eight times in front of their own supporters from 13 outings. Their cause for the visit of United may not be helped by the reported absence of Loic Remy, who is still suffering with a groin problem.
The Red Devils also have injury concerns of their own for Saturday's trip, with Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones ruled out through illness and injury respectively.
Rooney's absence is likely to give Danny Welbeck the opportunity to partner Robin van Persie in attack, while Nani could feature on the wing following his impressive display as a substitute against Reading in the FA Cup last time out.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side have been in good form away from home this season, collecting 29 points from a possible 39 - no side in the top flight can better or even match that record.
QPR last defeated United at Loftus Road back in May 1989.
