Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is at risk of having just two central defenders available for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans both sustained knocks in Thursday's agonising 4-3 defeat to Chelsea, with the latter replacing the former at half time before being forced off himself.
Ten Hag was none the wiser about the pair's availability for the weekend immediately after the game, but Lisandro Martinez (calf) and Victor Lindelof (thigh) are already guaranteed to miss out, as are Tyrell Malacia (knee), Luke Shaw (thigh), Anthony Martial (groin) and Altay Bayindir (muscle).
As a result, Ten Hag may have no choice but to throw 19-year-old Willy Kambwala into the first XI alongside Harry Maguire, where the pair will protect undisputed number one Andre Onana once more.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot - guilty of gifting Chelsea their second spot kick on Thursday night - should be in no danger of losing their places out wide, and the same can be said for Kobbie Mainoo in the centre.
However, Casemiro was another enforced withdrawal on Thursday evening due to an unspecified complaint, so Scott McTominay - whom Cole Palmer's last-minute winner deflected off - will likely join Mainoo in the middle.
Producing possibly his best moment in a Man United shirt yet - an exquisite outside-of-the-boot assist for Alejandro Garnacho - Antony may have done enough to retain his spot out wide with Garnacho, thus forcing Marcus Rashford to try to make an impact from the bench again as Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund reprise their roles.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Kambwala, Dalot; McTominay, Mainoo; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund
