Solskjaer has had some stern words for his players following another defeat in midweek, which could hint at possible changes from Tuesday's match in Barcelona.
Luke Shaw remains suspended having picked up 10 Premier League yellow cards this season, meaning that Ashley Young is likely to continue on the left with Diogo Dalot perhaps coming in on the opposite flank in place of Phil Jones.
United could be boosted by the returns of Nemanja Matic - an unused sub against Barcelona - and Ander Herrera, who is now back in training and is expected to be in contention for this weekend's match.
