Alaves want to re-sign Manchester United attacker Facundo Pellistri on loan, according to a report.

Alaves are reportedly keen for Manchester United attacker Facundo Pellistri to re-join the La Liga outfit on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.

The 19-year-old, who is yet to make his first-team debut for Man United since arriving from Penarol last summer, moved to Alaves on loan in January and made 12 appearances for the Basque club.

Pellistri, as it stands, will return to Old Trafford for pre-season, but he was a regular for Javier Calleja's side in the latter stages of the 2020-21 campaign, featuring in their final four La Liga fixtures.

According to Noticias de Alava, El Glorioso are eager to keep hold of the teenager for the 2021-22 season, having been impressed with his performances.

Pellistri scored twice and registered one assist in six Premier League 2 outings for Manchester United Under-23s before departing the club on a short-term basis.

The Uruguayan penned a five-year deal with the Red Devils upon his arrival last October.
