Report: Southampton offer Nathaniel Clyne new four-year deal

The 23-year-old has impressed this season and has been heavily linked with a move away from the South Coast, with Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly keen to acquire his services.

The Mirror says that Clyne has been offered a £45,000-a-week deal to extend his contract, which currently runs out at the end of next season.

The paper also claims that midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has been offered fresh terms, in a bid to see off interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Southampton currently sit seventh in the Premier League table and face Chelsea on Sunday.
