Manchester United transfer news: Sancho has choice of numbers, club in Badiashile talks, Jimenez blow

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Sunday, August 2.

Manchester United are expected to be active during this summer's transfer window, having booked their spot in next season's Champions League via their Premier League finish.

A number of players have been linked with moves to Old Trafford, but it remains to be seen how much business Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will manage to conclude before the end of the window.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from the 20-time English champions.

Sunday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Jadon Sancho 'to be offered choice of two numbers at Manchester United'

Jadon Sancho will reportedly be given the choice of wearing either the number seven or number 11 shirt if he joins Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

United continue to be linked with the England international, and it is thought that the 20-time English champions have now agreed an initial £60m fee for the 20-year-old.

According to the Manchester Evening News, should the former Manchester City youngster arrive at Old Trafford then he will be given the choice of two numbers, either '7' or '11'.

Sancho enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 campaign for Dortmund, scoring 20 times and contributing 20 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester United 'in talks with Monaco over Benoit Badiashile'

Manchester United are reportedly currently negotiating with Monaco over a potential deal for highly-rated central defender Benoit Badiashile.

The 19-year-old, who made 20 appearances for his Ligue 1 club during the 2019-20 campaign, has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months.

According to TF1, Monaco want in excess of €15m (£13.5m) for the youngster, and United are currently in talks with the principality outfit over a potential move.

Badiashile, who has also been linked with both Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid, has made 46 appearances in all competitions for his current club since debuting in November 2018.

Raul Jimenez 'wants to stay at Wolverhampton Wanderers despite Manchester United link'

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez is reportedly not interested in joining Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.

The Mexico international has been in excellent form for Nuno Espirito Santo's side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 26 times and registering 10 assists in 53 appearances in all competitions.

United have been strongly linked with the striker, and a recent report claimed that the Red Devils were closing in on a move for the 29-year-old, who has also been linked with Juventus.

However, according to Record, Jimenez 'is happy in Wolverhampton' and is not interested in leaving Molineux ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, placing a move to Old Trafford in severe doubt.
