Manchester United are reportedly admirers of Moussa Dembele and are still tempted to make a move for the Lyon forward.
The 24-year-old has scored 34 times for Lyon in 86 Ligue 1 and Champions League appearances since the start of 2018-19.
However, Dembele has yet to get off the mark in 10 outings this term and United were believed to have cooled their interest.
According to the Manchester Evening News, though, the Red Devils have not ruled out bringing in the Frenchman next year.
Dembele would qualify as a homegrown player at Old Trafford, having come through Fulham's academy before spells with Celtic and Lyon.
West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in Dembele.
