Manchester United have reportedly approached Inter Milan over the possibility of taking unwanted playmaker Christian Eriksen on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Denmark international is free to leave San Siro this month after struggling to fit into Antonio Conte's system since arriving 12 months ago.
Inter are keen on a permanent sale for a player that they spent £17m to sign from Tottenham Hotspur, but a loan exit may also be a possibility.
According to Duncan Castles on The Transfer Window podcast, Inter are now pondering United's offer to take Eriksen for the next six months.
The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their squad this month, but like most clubs they are not in a financial position to spend big on new recruits during the coronavirus pandemic.
Eriksen has featured 14 times for Inter in all competitions this term and has yet to register a goal or an assist.
