Manchester United reportedly intend to rival Liverpool for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore should they miss out on top target Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils are expected to admit defeat in their long-running pursuit of Sancho as they are way off Borussia Dortmund's nine-figure valuation.
According to transfer expert Duncan Castles, United may now instead focus on signing speedy wideman Traore to bolster their attacking options for next season.
Traore has four goals and nine assists for Wolves in the Premier League this season and has been strongly touted as a target for champions Liverpool.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old, who has three years to run on the contract signed when he joined Wolves from Middlesbrough in 2018.
