Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
The Portuguese coach, who signed Fabregas from Barcelona in 2014 when he was Chelsea boss, is believed to be monitoring the Spaniard's situation at Stamford Bridge.
According to The Mirror, Mourinho is waiting to learn whether or not new Blues boss Antonio Conte has Fabregas in his plans, and if not, could try to tempt the midfielder to Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old's future at the West London outfit could be in doubt due to reports that Conte is keeping track of N'Golo Kante, Joao Mario, Andre Gomes and Radja Nainggolan ahead of a potential summer swoop.
Mourinho has signed three players - Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan - since taking over as United manager.
