Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has revealed that he tried to re-sign Wilfried Zaha on loan before the close of the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old left Selhurst Park for the English champions in the summer, but has yet to feature in a Premier League match under boss David Moyes this season.
"I asked about a loan for Wilf but David will select him at the right time," The Express quotes Holloway as saying. "I asked about him in the last day of the transfer window. Just in case."
Zaha is available for United's clash against his former club tomorrow afternoon.
