Manchester United have made contact with Barcelona over a possible move for teenage full-back Marc Jurado, according to a report.
The 16-year-old academy product is said to be attracting interest from clubs across the continent following impressive displays at age-grade level.
Spanish outlet Sport claims that United are one of the sides to have enquired about Jurado, having recently sent Barcelona a friendly email.
Despite the interest in the young defender, Barca are said to be optimistic that he will sign a long-term contract when the time is right.
Jurado, who only turned 16 on Monday, has spent his entire youth career at La Masia.
