Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'wants six signings to fix Manchester United'

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to make six new signings during the next two transfer windows.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to add half-a-dozen new signings to his Manchester United squad during 2020.

Despite three high-profile arrivals before the start of this season, there are increasing calls from supporters for United to bring in more fresh faces during January.

While Solskjaer has publicly insisted that he may opt for a quiet month on the transfer front, The Times claims that the Norwegian is keen to sign six new players.

The report suggests that Solskjaer's biggest concern is in midfield, courtesy of frequent speculation regarding the future of Paul Pogba and with Scott McTominay having recently sustained a serious knee injury.

United are allegedly contemplating an approach for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek, who is expected to move to a bigger club in one of the next two windows.

However, making an addition in the centre of defence and attack also remains a priority for Solskjaer at a time when there remains uncertainty about his long-term future.
