Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier expresses his desire to remain at the Parc des Princes should the French champions wish to keep him.

Thomas Meunier has prioritised staying at Paris Saint-Germain this summer over a move to the Premier League.

The Belgian right-back was thought to be nearing a switch to the English top flight, with Manchester United and Arsenal strongly linked.

After hinting last week that a move away from the French capital may be the best option for him, Meunier has now backtracked on those comments by expressing his desire to stay on at the Parc des Princes.

"My ambition is to stay in Paris," he told RTBF. "If they want me, that will be even better - we will be hand in hand. If they do not want me, then we will find a solution."

Meunier started exactly half of PSG's Ligue 1 matches last season and has one year to run on his contract.
